Scope: Business Plan - Our scope was to prepare a detailed five year business plan for Company’s foray into water treatment business
Deliverables: We had analyzed the global markets for water treatment, the infrastructure requirement for hassle free production, technical competencies and licences required for product commercialization. We detailed the financial aspects and finalized the project funding requirement and source of funding to kicstart the prodcution. We had analyzed and presented the new venture’s business model, its applicability in Shipping Industry, its domestic and global market potential, the existing market players in the segment and USP’s of the equipment being developed by the company to a group of High Net worth Individuals and obtained angel funding for this project.
Scope: Business Plan - Our scope was to advice the promoter on the future roadmap of his Auto Componenet company
Deliverables: We had analyzed the global markets for that particular component, the potential for Joint Venture/ Strategic Partnership with Global Players and the need for change in human resources. We charted a roadmap for the entrepreneur to reach Rs.100 crores topline in the next three years from the exisiting level of Rs.30 crores.

Scope: Concept Note & Project Synopsis - Our scope was to prepare a business plan for expanding the existing business segment
Deliverables: We had analyzed the SEZ environment in Cambodia, did a detailed research in Oil & Gas segment, Investment climate in Cambodia and prepared a concept note for the Investor to understand the project feasibility, timelines and funding requirement for the project. Client: A Multinational Automobile Manufacturing Company
Scope: Audit & Assurance services
Deliverables: We undertook the complete audit of the purchase department involving all its activities right from issuing of Purchase Orders, raising of Goods Receipt Notes, accounting of Purchase bills and closing down with Vendor payments. We identified technical glitches in the ERP which resulted in duplicate payments to the Vendors which was immediately highlighted to the management and a total sum of Rs.1.76 crores were recovered from all the Vendors at our instance.
Deliverables: We completely handled the due-diligence, funding and tax planning aspects of a take-over of a refinery in South India sold by a leading Multi-National Lubricants Conglomerate. We advised on the slump sale of business and obtained the necessary funding requirement to complete the transaction.
Deliverables: Our team was involved in completely taking care of the payroll services of the university for its new campus set up at South India. We structured the Salaries for all its staffs to make it tax-efficient. We remotely processed the salary for all their staff each month after duly auditing the payroll related documents. Deliverables: We studied the complex manufacturing process of the Oil & Gas refinery which resulted in the production ofboth exempted and taxable commodities and found out that Cenvat Credit wasn’t availed onraw materials purchased that were utilized exclusively to produce excisable commodities. We represented the matter to the Excise Department and enabled the company to avail Cenvat Credit amount of Rs.2 Crore which is a recurring benefit for each year.
Client: A Govt of India Enterprise engaged in Mining and Power Generation
Scope: Direct Tax Advisory
Deliverables: We obtained the Commissioner of Income Tax’s approval for the Post-Retirement Medical Assistance Scheme run by the state-owned enterprise for all its employees who superannuated from the company. We represented the client and presented the case with complete documentation and convinced the Commissioner for extending the approval for the PRMA Scheme which allowed the company to claim the deduction for its contributions to the fund to the tune of Rs.156.73 crores which straight away accrued a tax benefit of Rs.53.27 Crores for the company. A much larger off-shoot was that it benefited a total of 18,351 employees who had superannuated from the organization.
